Terms & conditions

These terms govern entry to Prize Centre competitions. Each competition also has its own rules, closing date and draw date shown on its page.

Draft terms — pending solicitor review. These terms will be finalised before launch.

1. Who we are

Prize Centre is operated by UCS Care Group Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15067831) with its registered office at Unit 1 Oaklands Business Park, Newton Road, Lowton WA3 2AQ (the "Promoter", "we", "us"). You can contact us at hello@prizecentre.co.uk.

2. These terms

  • These terms govern your use of prizecentre.co.uk and your entry into every competition we run.
  • Each competition also has its own rules shown on its page — the skill question, ticket price, maximum entries, closing date and draw date. If a competition's own rules differ from these terms on a specific point, the competition's rules apply to that competition.
  • By creating an account or entering a competition you agree to these terms. The version of these terms in force when you enter applies to that entry.

3. Who can enter

  • You must be 18 or over. We verify the age of every player before they can enter, and we will close any account found to belong to someone under 18.
  • You must be a resident of the United Kingdom.
  • Employees, contractors and officers of the Promoter, and members of their immediate households, may not enter.
  • You may hold one account only. Entries made through duplicate accounts may be void.

4. Your account

  • You must give accurate details when registering and keep them up to date — winner verification (section 8) checks the details on your account, and we contact winners using them.
  • Keep your sign-in access secure. You are responsible for entries made through your account unless they result from our failure.

5. How to enter

  • Every competition is a prize competition: entry requires answering a skill question. An entry with an incorrect answer is not entered into the draw, and the entry fee for it is not refunded — this is stated before you pay.
  • Paid entries are confirmed by email with your ticket number(s). A maximum number of tickets per person may apply and is shown on the competition page.
  • Free entry by post is available for every competition and is treated identically to paid entry, with the same odds. The postal route and address are shown on each competition page. Postal entries must answer the same skill question and arrive before the closing date.
  • Entries cannot be transferred, resold or refunded once accepted into the draw, except as set out in section 10.

6. Playing responsibly

  • Every account has player-protection tools: a monthly spend limit (set before you can enter, decreases apply immediately, increases only after a 24-hour cooling-off), time-outs, longer suspensions and permanent closure.
  • Details, and links to free confidential support organisations, are on our Responsible play page.

7. The draw

  • Every competition has a guaranteed draw date shown before you enter. There are no rollovers or extensions — the draw takes place on the published date regardless of how many tickets are sold.
  • Winners are selected by a verifiable random draw covering every valid entry, paid and postal alike. The result and the evidence needed to check it independently are published.
  • If a manifest technical error affects a draw, we may declare it void and re-run it before any result is published. Any re-run is recorded in the same audit trail as the original.

8. Winners

  • We notify winners using the contact details on their account. If a winner does not respond within 7 days of first notification, we may (after reasonable further attempts to make contact) withdraw the prize and draw an alternative winner from the same entry pool.
  • Before any prize is handed over, winners must complete identity, age and eligibility checks. A prize may be withheld or reclaimed if the winner fails these checks, breached these terms when entering, or won through fraud or a technical error.
  • We publish each competition's result — including the winner's name, the winning ticket number and a link to the draw record — as part of running fair, transparent competitions. Any publicity beyond that (photographs, interviews, promotional use) is only ever with your consent.

9. Prizes

  • Prizes are as described on the competition page. Where a cash alternative is offered, it is stated on the competition page before you enter; where none is stated, none is available.
  • Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged, except for any stated cash alternative.
  • We deliver prizes free of charge within the United Kingdom, or arrange collection/handover for vehicles and other large prizes. Ownership and risk pass to you on delivery or handover.

10. Refunds, cancellation and void competitions

  • Because entry to a competition begins immediately and each competition closes on a fixed date, paid entries are final once accepted into the draw and the statutory cooling-off period does not apply.
  • If we cancel or void a competition (which we will only do where these terms or the law require it), every paid entry in it is refunded in full to the original payment method.

11. Chargebacks and fraud

  • If you dispute a legitimate payment with your bank instead of contacting us first, we may void the entries it paid for, suspend your account while we investigate, and recover costs the dispute causes us where it was made without justification.
  • We may void entries and suspend or close accounts involved in fraud, automation or bulk entry, multiple accounts, or attempts to interfere with the platform or a draw.

12. Our liability

  • Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law.
  • Subject to that, our total liability to you in connection with a competition is limited to the value of the prize for that competition or, if greater, the amount you paid to enter it.
  • We are not liable for entries that fail to reach us, or delays or failures in email, post or payment networks, where the cause is outside our reasonable control.

13. Intellectual property

Everything on prizecentre.co.uk — including branding, text, images and software — belongs to us or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse it except as needed to use the site normally.

14. Your data

How we use your personal data — including what we publish about winners and how long we keep the free-entry register — is set out in our Privacy policy.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes apply to entries made after the change is published; they never apply retrospectively to entries already accepted.

16. General

  • If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
  • A delay in enforcing these terms is not a waiver of them.
  • You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours to a successor of the business, on the same terms.
  • These terms are the entire agreement between us about competitions, and no third party has rights under them.
  • These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in your local courts.
